What to expect
The VOR60 experience condensed into one day sailing in the Ría de Arousa aboard Tokio II.
At 11.00 A.M. we start with a breafing in the Cabo de Cruz Marina on board the Tokio II, about safety, rules on board and operation of the trimming systems.
Afterwards, we will leave port to carry out manoeuvres in the Boiro inlet, so that the crew can familiarise themselves with the trimming systems.
Next, and always taking into account the prevailing weather conditions, we will sail along the Ría de Arousa, in an area between Sálvora, O Grove and Vilagarcía de Arousa.
The route is designed to be sailed in a single day but with sufficient duration and distance for the participants to familiarise themselves with sailing on board a boat designed for competition: sail trimming, operation of grinders, sheets, halyards, etc.
Participants will rotate through the different tasks on board: bow, mast, piano, grinders, mainsail trimmer, genoa/asymmetric trimmer or rudder.
